Parents of the disabled camp in the government headquarters

Protesters now only count on President Andrzej Duda (46). After the Chancellery of the Sejm blocked the entrance to the Sejm of the rehabilitation officers yesterday, the parents declare that they will not leave the parliament until they receive real help. And Internet users mock: mother in a scarf for 10,000.

The protesters last Friday met with President Andrzej Duda (46), Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki (50) and the Minister of Family, Labor and Social Policy Elżbieta Rafalska (63). Although the prime minister promised to introduce the so-called "solidarity tribute" to the most needy, the parents do not intend to end the protest. No wonder, because despite Morawiecki's assurances that the decision will be made until mid-May, it is already known that parents will be able to count on real help until next year. - Prime Minister Morawiecki agrees with our demands, which is why we do not understand what to expect. We've been waiting 12 years. Nothing changes and nothing will change - said one of the mothers of a disabled child after the meeting. - The president has a legislative initiative and can do a lot, that's why we count on fulfilling the promises of the president - commented another.

Parents demand, among others, introduction of a rehabilitation supplement for people with disabilities, unable to live independently after the age of 18 in the amount of PLN 500. monthly without income criterion and equating the amount of social pension with the lowest ZUS pension for total incapacity to work, along with a gradual increase of this amount to the equality of the subsistence minimum calculated for a household with a disabled person. - We will stay here as long as possible in the Sejm. We will stay until there is help for our disabled, dependent children - one of the mothers declared in the Sejm.

The real question is what is the Polish government doing with money anyway? Its just money that they fleeced from their citizens so now the community is too broke to help these children themselves.
