It’s good that you raised this issue to us. I don’t agree with their management in planting plastic trees in replacement of real trees, too. I think the same as you that “only real trees could absorb water and produce oxygen, giving us healthier and fresher air”.

And I'm glad to hear that they are gone now, but those are waste, as you said, indeed.
