Good article. Whilst I am fairly capitalist in outlook I do know that all things are finite, including profit and exploitation to gain the same.
I'd personally say that intermediated markets, central banks, fractional lending and globalization is what has supercharged capitalism into something like a psychopath on PCP. Countries and their populations are slaving away for us to enjoy the option of purchasing the latest fancy gadget. And i don't even use half of the features and functions of most gadgets they buy.
I also think there's a probably of "Creating markets". It's a very psychological and brainwashing thing to do. Instead of having a parent at home to raise the children, now both parents usually work to pump cash into an economy fueled on debt. Now there's a huge demand for daycare and childcare.
Instead of cutting your own damned dog's fur, you now have mobile dog groomers. How aristocratic! But now such aristocracy has become mainstream for all the Bourgeoisie to enjoy such luxury for their pooch too.

investment forces expansion. They don't pump more money every generation, the profit is finite.

as technology increases our way of life gets better. Also for the majority of people in the world that probably is not affordable
