Voting

in #politics2 years ago

Voting is pretty much the most basic responsibility of anyone living in a democracy. No matter how you feel about the government, it's the only way you can voice your opinion and is a pillar of how you interact with those in power and ensure your freedoms. Previous generation fought to enable us to have a freedom of speech, and a voice in our democracy whatever shape it may take. I think the least anyone living in a democracy can do is cast a ballot to voice their opinions considering all the sacrifices that have gone into giving you that right. I may not agree with my government and get frustrated with the system but I will vote for every election that I'm able to do so.

Anyways.. my very biased opinion..and 2 cents.
