Just listened to both parts. Absolutely dead-on, as far as I am concerned. Still chewing on some of it, but basically, this podcast elucidated and articulated some impressions I've had about this issue that have been difficult to put into words at times. Cheers for that.

Sorry, but making fun of people who take voting seriously is a form of bullying.

Voting is bullying. I do not have the authority to govern you. I cannot take your property or coerce you into obeying me without violating your rights as an individual. Voting is at best delegating such bullying to a third party. But how can I legitimately assign to someone else an authority I do not have in the first place?

If people take something seriously, it can't be mocked? What about flat earthers, communists, fascists, white supremacists, or other people who believe firmly in stupid or destructive things?

Generic compliments are bad. Failing to upvote the stuff you compliment just proves to everyone you're only here to game the system and not contribute anything of value yourself.
