SEPARATION OF POWERS

refers to the division of government responsibilities into distinct branches to limit any branch from exercising the core functions of another. The intent is to prevent the concentration of power and provide for checks and balances.

In the present 1999 Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, separation of powers is a fundamental constitutional principle. Relevant sections of the Constitution place each of the basic powers of government in a separate branch.

A complete separation of powers is neither practicable nor desirable for effective government. This will show if separation of powers is impracticable under the 1999 Constitution of Nigeria.

Speaking on this note the senate president speaks on the very important key note of survive of democracy. Especially when people kicked against the actions of the legislature taken in the course of carrying out its constitutional duties was a negation of the principle of separation of powers and the Rule of Law. The arm of government was intended and designed to be free of coercive influence from another, regretting that was not always the case in practice in Nigeria.

SURVIVAL OF DEMOCRACY
How is our democracy going to survive when our senator
In the long history of the rise and decline of democracy, this is one of the most unpredictable threat. Democracy will survive and yet every four year elections are held poor masses are being killed in the name of democracy. But elections are the beating heart of every democracy, but at the end their are no free and fair election in this country.

How is democracy going to survive? When our bad leaders in government has refused to do the right thing, they are suppose to do to help keep the democracy going as it should.

NATIONAL SECURITY
I can simply say that national security is the security of a nation state, including its citizens, economy, and institutions, and is regarded as a duty of government to make sure that her citizen are cared for!!!!

But Nigerian security is reversed case because of the Benue communities. Where several persons where killed and displaced. Gunmen Suspected to be Fulani herdsmen invaded Jootar Gaambe Tiev in Benue State, killing several villagers.

And we claimed to have security of life and property.

The invasion that took place on January 1, 2018. Following the deadly invasion, several persons have fled their villages to safely.

Well I strongly believe that democracy is the best ideogical way of governing people, it only becomes a breach of contract when those who have been given power become mischievous in their selfish masterminds* good content @bendollars . Steemon!

Thank you very much, but i think democracy should be the voice of the people in terms of security and protection of life and property and not the other way round!
