Even if the Chinese don't seek to follow after our example of tossing off their chains as the Americans did. I doubt the people of China would be interested in attacking a people who had just killed the largest empire in the history of mankind. Besides the fact that the enforcers of the worldwide empire, the "troops", will have just all been brought home well trained & well armed. Then there are the citizens who will have no interest in being shackled again after having just tossed their old chains. Talk about voracious fighters, men of valor to be sure. There are lots more reasons why a free people are the terrifying opponent but, for now, that ought to suffice.
