No doubt this masterstroke is Comey's attempt to get ahead of President Trump's impending Twitter tirade, distraction tactics, and smear campaign.

Comey likely knew that Trump would be busy today in Cincinnati speaking about his infrastructure plan. However, no one's covering that event - the big story today is the truth.
