3. Trump is NOT a sexist, racist or fascist, see why he was accused.
Let's just back the truck up for a moment. I want to say something here before I talk about Trump. They say ignore
history and your fate is to repeat it. So a brief cautionary history lesson.
I'm not sure if readers here know or have ever heard about the 'Cutural Revolution' that swept China from 1966 til
1976. It was a brilliantly evil plot hatched by Chairman Mao Zedong to re-instate his leadership after he saw his
power waning.
After the Communist take-over of China, Mao and the party undertook the immense task of industrialising what was
in 1949 an almost medieval country. Throughout the 1950's China mobilised it's biggest resource, hundreds of
millions of people to build factories, hydro electric schemes, vast agricultural developments and other industrial
projects. Many projects were ill conceived or suffered from a lack of Engineering or skilled tradespeople. By 1959 it is
estimated between 18 and 55 million people had starved or were sent to their deaths in this massive upheaval. The
failure of Mao's Great Leap Forward as it was called led to him being sidelined.
In order to regain control Mao unleashed the Cultural Revolution. It was a subversive and finely calculated plot to
introduce themes, ideas and ideology to entrap and demonise Mao's political opponents. It all began in theatre plays
that criticised existing power structures, newspaper articles that undermined establishment positions and political
arguments that focused on ideology rather than realistic policy. The result was a firestorm that swept and divided the
vast nation. Anything sounding vaguely familiar yet?
Mao fanned these flames by secretly commissioning articles favouring widespread change and also rejecting it. For a
people who were effectively Government slaves in an open air prison, the idea of change sounded terrific. Those who
had found a position in the hierachy of course where quite happy with the way things were. Mao ramped up the
chaos by endorsing posters, articles and literature which promoted revolution in politics and culture. People were
encouraged to criticize those in established positions, find fault in their application of policy and denounce their
'wrong thinking'. Street mobs began attacking local officials for perceived corruption, University professors for
thought crimes and political figures for idealogical treason. They became Mao's 'Red Guard', his storm troopers.
What does all this have to do with Donald Trumps sexism, racism and fascism? Well consider this. In the election
campaign we only heard these criticisms of Trump when it appeared that he may interfere in the smooth changeover
from Obama to Clinton. As we now know, Clinton's campaign had actively encouraged the media to boost Trump in
the Republican primaries as the 'pied piper candidate' who would lead his party off the cliff and and ensure a Clinton
victory. When polling showed Trump's popularity was a threat, the older leftists and social organisers from Obama's
wing of the Democrat party knew reflexively what to do. After eight years at the top with America's first coloured
President they had unprecedented media access. In fact it isn't exaggerating to say they had similar power over
media and social influencers as Mao had in 1966. So the Obama wing of the Democrats launched their very own 'anti
Trump cultural revolution'.
Antifa, BLM, Women against Trump, we all saw the result. Any group that could pull a crowd and shout anti Trumpism
was paid for their time and bussed where needed to march. George Soros, an expert in this street level activism
having organised and financed multiple European and Arab Spring 'colour revolutions' was heavily involved. Money
was no option with Soros's established foundations and charitable institutions loaded with idealogue staff and
generous budgets. Research had shown them, Trump like any white male of 70 years was vulnerable on emotionally
charged key words like "sexist" and "racist". The charge of "fascist"? I don't know about you but at 20 years of
age I called anyone who had more power than I did a "fascist".
The problem with the Democrats 2016 redux of the 'cultural revolution' was that they could find no hard compelling
evidence of Trump being a racist or sexist. No sex scandals, no tell alls from abused staff, no incriminating photo in
kkk outfit. They were left with a recording of Trump indulging misguided and inappropriate locker room type banter
...from twelve years ago. The content of the recording, most males if they are truthful will agree, is pretty standard
guy to guy bragmanship. No excuses mind you, but this was not Presidential campaign ending scandal. If anything it
showed the candidate was like an ordinary guy. On charges of racism, leftwing Democrats knew there was no
substance, however they hatched what they thought was a brilliant plan.
Trump's long stated views on unrestrained immigration was completely at odds with the Democrats. In Bill Clintons
administration, long range research showed the Democrats middle class base was disappearing, leading the Dems to
peg their electoral future on immigrants and wall Street. By effectively opening the floodgates the Democrats
intention was immigration leading to demographic change resulting in electoral wins. The Democrats effectively
attacked Trump the candidate and Trumps immigration policy simply by calling him a racist. In truth, Trump's policy
is intended to stop the downward spiral of wages by reducing the flow of unskilled migrants. As well, watching the
chaotic flood of middle eastern and African refugees entering Europe and the subsequent terrorist attacks, Trump's
immigration policy was a national security issue.
Viewed retrospectively, the Democrats use of the racist smear on Trump for his immigration policies would have
worked in 2012. But American voters watched the events in Europe throughout 2016 in horror. Whereas accusations
of racism under a coloured President would have previously been hard to survive. By November last year, a lot of
people thought tighter control over who was allowed into the country seemed like common sense, not racism.
Oh, if you fell for all the manipulations and propaganda and found yourself with a signboard and screaming anti trumpisms, never mind. All Mao's Red Guards are in their sixties and seventies now. They tend to remember a brief period of excitement and a belief they could change the world. But then everything calmed down and normality returned. Which is exactly what has happened in the US.
