Greed, Selfishness, Centralized Power, Corruption and the lack of a Better Vision of the World in which we live are the main aspects that I characterize the Government and Politicians with.
I'm actually sad that young people turn out to vote. We are supposed to come up and have a better Vision of the World! We should see the current world and it's systems and start coming up with ways to improve it.
Improve the systems which make the world what it is today.
Look at what Politics and Voting has done. How can you EXPECT an intelligent person to CHOOSE between such people as Hillary or Trump? Those do no represent anything that I want to see more of in the world.
How can they give me two such horrible options and expect me to just bow down my head to their flawed system of corruption?
Yes, Government and Politicians might have started out with good intentions and the well being of the world in Mind. But they have become the contrary of that in today's world.
Most of the people who join politics today are those selfish individuals who want to gain power over others so that they may feel better about themselves and use that power in however way it benefits them the most.
We, YOUNG PEOPLE, are the ones who need to come up with a better system. A system that has as main goal the well being of everyone and everything. This is a beautiful world which isn't ours to destroy, but more like a garden to which we should tenderly attend.
We must not conform to their old world of Greed, Power over others and Corruption, but we must build a new and better system with which to take new positively world influencing ideas and put them into practice.

This post was an initial comment response to @freedomexists post, that I've decided to extend and make into a post of my own.
"Anyway, nice post. I'm glad we can share our difference of opinion in a safe environment, where people with different ideas aren't incarcerated or killed into silence."
politicians are the fake people
Indeed they are, most of them. :s

Upvoted and following you. I also wrote about voting recently (https://steemit.com/voting/@morality2/voting-as-an-act-of-self-defence-utterly-futile-at-best) and will probably write more about this topic in the future.
Thank you brother! Great post, I've enjoyed it and gave my own review. Hope you like it :)
