People get too triggered these days to have open discussions with about politics and government policies. I just try to avoid it.

Yes they do get triggered, which is why I tend to stay away from it on here in general. However in my local area, I've noticed a surprising level of cuivil give-and-take this time around. It seems with the stakes so high for each candidate, people are more willing to hear the other side out than ever before.
I don't necessarily see that here.
