A key component of the lefts attack on open dialogue is shrinking the idealogical diversity of any debate that takes place until both sides of the political spectrum are pigeonholed into their respective corners and infighting runs rampant.
Dont buy into the meme that the entire left is diametrically opposed to open dialogue. Protests are not a place for debate - so when you see some wankwad antifas trying to shut down free speech, dont take that as evidence that the entire left is shut off from debate. Moderates on the left are at wits end with the childish, incompetent behavior and ability of their parties loudest voices. There is a huge market for enemy tier cross party dialogue. One not based on clickbait...but genuine adult solutions, consensus.
You dont end the civil strife by having one side conquer the other. You calm the nerves of America by taking back the public microphone from the content-fueled agitators in the media and activist industry, and restoring a rational discourse, unfettered by the propaganda that drives division. We think we can just leave the bi-partisan struggle up to our elected officials...lmao...pitiful...NOPE. We have been real foolish as a country, lately, havent we. Bipartisanism starts with enemy-tier collaboration in the streets of our struggling town and cities. If we dont clean up our act we risk losing the one thing all us political outcasts of the dem/repub paradigm wanted more than anything just a few years ago. Do you even remember? Thats right...the rise of third party candidates. We are really dumb, you know that? We is so dumb.
How terrified would the system be if a lefty and a Trumpian sat next to each other and demanded a reigning in of any number of things they actually DO agree on? War on drugs? ANTI WAR!
The tone needs to now be viciously ripped from the content fueled agitators on all sides and returned to calm, collected individuals who look forward in a respectful manner of all people. This, my lions, is where you swipe your thunderous paw, these tasks, are what you've been called upon to accomplish.
