I want there to be infrastructure that
1)Sets a high standard for political writing/journalism
2)incentivizes solution based political thinking
3)rewards innovative ideas, valuable contributions to the field, and displays of excelence as it relates to political writing/journalism
My idea
An annual essay contest that awards scholarships and cash prizes to great thinkers
Im not sure how one would organize such a thing on a national scale or if something simillar exists already.
I am looking forward to hearing what YOU have to say about this idea.
