- Redlining was a way of roping in certain races into certain neighborhoods and keeping them out of others.
- Stereotypes existed and many whites did not think their property values would be the same if they had black neighbors.
Redlining encouraged the building of invisible borders. Did these invisible borders enforced by government law create what became known as the black ghettos? If the government is responsible then what should be done about it and if the government isn't responsible is there a better explanation for how the ghettos came about?
There is so much secrecy in this world, it's difficult to know the truth.
Well sticking a whole group in a certain area that was thought of to have little or no value sure seems like it. Not to mention those same people couldn't get the startup capital from the banks to develop what they did have.
