Since I have been on the topic of discrimination lately, I think it's time we rid ourselves of affirmative action. This is another liberal key word for diversity. People should be based on their merit and not because they are different. Recently, the White House has announced that it would be taking action against college campuses that use affirmative action in their admissions process. This is long overdue, as a college graduate myself, I can tell you this is one of the worst policies colleges use in the admissions process. If you let someone in based on the fact that they are different from the majority of students, colleges are doing a great disservice to the applicant. Many of them will fail out of college and that was a spot that a deserving student could have filled. It shrinks the rolls of the school and could cause funding issues. Do you want a degree that you really did not earn? If so, do you think an employer is going to keep someone who can not do the work? Let me know what you think in the comment section below.
I am agaist affirmative actions. To me all laws should be isonomic.
