At least they aint swarming steemit :)

Like @tronthetechie said, youtube is a cesspool. I can't wait for more and more youtube personalities and channels to come over here. The very structure of this platform makes it much less able to be overrun by garbage.

Maybe @davidpakman can chime in, but I believe if there is an incentive to be your true self and respectful, instead of this mean caricature, why would you be the mean caricature?

Right, definitely agree. I think when people realize that they can PROFIT from being respectable, decent, human beings, it'll definitely change their attitude.

The whole idea of this could profoundly change the face of the internet and how people engage with one another. Imagine a world with little to no trolls. Mannnn, sounds like heaven.

Why wait for (a) heaven when we can make it now?

They are not social animals. As one recently told me "I hate community". That pretty much sums it up. And they are brainwashed into thinking that anti-social isolationist "me first" thinking is in their best interests. The people who do the brainwashing... Are in it for the money. Folks like Alex Jones when forced have openly admitted it, why else would he be selling boner pills and conspiracies (that would make a fun band name I think) and confessing in court his the filled rants are "all just an act".

They will bring their excrement over here, unfortunately.

TRUTH and Honesty Will always Triumph over Lies and Deceit @davidpakman........

I would love to believe that, but in my experience, reality often works out different. A good example would be News Paper headlines on the front page, and the retraction/redaction/correction in small print on the 4th page 3 months later. Everybody remembers the headline but never gets to read the retraction or lawsuit that got settled out of court. Mission accomplished; reputation destroyed. Nothing wrong with sticking to your principles though! Greetings!

Keep up the good fight! With enemies like this, you know you're on the right side of history!

Youtube comments are an absolute cesspool, I hope that the incentive structure of steemit can keep such things in check.

YouTube comments are indeed a cesspool

I think the main issue is anonymity afforded on those platforms. Some folks don't have their real names associated with their accounts and it's impossible to serve court papers for a Libel/slander case to an anonymous entity. I also think this trolling is an act of cowardice, as the Troll has nothing personal invested in the exchange. A simple solution would be to delete all anonymous accounts but I think there is a reason they are not doing that.

I do enjoy the mental image of court papers being delivered to the owner of the youtube account, just hilarious!

** Pounds on Door **

"Good afternoon, sir. Are you the owner of the youtube account "FuZEnutSACK420"

"Ummm, nope.. never heard of it...."

"Are you sure sir? it had the profile picture of an anthropomorphic scrotum, smoking a bong, wearing a make america great again hat."

"No idea..."

The ip address is associated with an account for internet connection with your name..."

** Police Chase commences **

I think you need to do a Movie; half the script is done already. Now it will take days to get that mental picture out of my head. LOL.

Alot of them are just trolls. There's no point arguing with them they won't listen and you shouldn't feed them.

Just Followed you and now Upvoted you :) Anyway, David we have Bannon to thank for that as he initiated the most recent push on White Nationalism the last 2 years or so. It seems like after the Moore debacle Bannon has lost some traction. But in general with Trump as President these Far Right Nut cases and their White Supremacy cousins will be rearing their ugly heads for 3 more years :(

Good Post

nice video dear

so what is next?

TRUTH and Honesty Will always Triumph over Lies and Deceit @davidpakman........

You youtube channel is amaizing. By the way how do you manage the more and more comment on your videos and here in steemit? Thanks for sharing.

Trolls being trolls as usual. They just want to win something once in their lives, and they think by hijacking the below the line comments on the internet that achieves something. It's a shame because when used well youtube comments are a good resource but political channels especially don't get that luxury.

I wonder if people get some pleasure from trolling. I wonder if my life will ever become so meaningless and pathetic that I will resort to these things? If it gets to that I will send a bullet through my head. Good work though @davidpakman.

Why doesn’t YouTube put people in “jail” like Twitter does? Or maybe they do, but it certainly doesn’t seem like it. The kind of vile 🐴💩 that alt-right boneheads leave in comments is harassment and should be removed for the benefit of all other users. You’d think Google of all companies could figure that one out.

Thats true, but they are trolls tho
