RE: Weekend at Bidens : Is it finally over?

in #politics5 months ago (edited)

If you actually read the transcript, most of what Biden said at the debate actually was pretty good. It's just his delivery made it seem like he was asleep, and he got tongue-tied a few times, and of course it's those few times that the media is constantly replaying. At least he tried to say some honest things and answer the questions, as opposed to Trump who just lied out his ass, claimed to be the best at everything and most loved of all time, claimed responsibility for many of the good things that Biden did in office, and attacked everyone. Don't get me wrong—I absolutely do not want Biden again (nor Trump), but this narrative that Biden did so bad in the debate isn't really true and is the media pushing us to more fighting (as usual).

That said, I'm with @silverd510 – they both suck. The DNC forced Biden on us when pretty much every Democrat has been begging for someone else since Biden was elected last time, and Trump... well, he's taken over the other party and everyone is quick to lick his ass, swear allegiance, and buy one of the crappy Bibles that he's been peddling.

Now watch the circus. If Trump wins, he will attack his enemies as he has been very publicly saying, and we'll have some more very scary things happen in America. And if Biden wins, half the MAGA members in congress will refuse to certify the vote (as many of them have already admitted) so... well, I don't know what that will lead to. If a president isn't certified by a certain date, congress technically gets to choose the president. But I can't imagine that will go smoothly if it comes to it.

These next few months will be... interesting.
