Democrats in Alabama recently launched a free weed website that is intended to advocate for marijuana legalization in the state. The website is supposed to help their efforts in pushing to make that happen and it is about time that more significant changes were made in this region surrounding cannabis restrictions.
Millions of people are still prohibited from accessing medicinal cannabis in Alabama and the move to embrace this freedom rather than restrict it shouldn't isn't a one-sided partisan issue.
The access to cannabis can benefit voters on both sides, people of all different ages and backgrounds.
There have been questions surrounding the war on drugs in AL for some time, specifically when it comes to how the funds are used that get taken via civil asset forfeiture.
Thousands of arrests have taken place in the state for possession alone and this is one of the last regions left in the country to reverse its wrongdoing.
Is the profit being made from the war on cannabis too much to turn away from? Cops in the region have previously been banned from taking small amounts of cash after growing efforts to reform civil asset forfeiture pushed for that change. Although, it isn't the sort of change that a number of critics wanted to see though.
Cannabis Freedom
Cannabis is a product that veterans are looking to use, seniors, and young working adults, as there isn't one typical community member who could benefit from changes to cannabis restrictions in Alabama.
Cannabis can be used to create thousands of different products and fuel the creation of thousands of jobs too, depending on how big the market gets and how much freedom is afforded for different services and goods.
For those regions that might be looking to continue criminalizing cannabis for the profit that might be made from it, they should instead try to recognize that more profit can be made from allowing this market to flourish. Dems might be looking to push a little more for cannabis change right now in the region, but this is an issue that repubs should look to work with them on because there are millions in the state who need and want access to this product.

Dont give me no alaBAMER weed! lol Seroulsly that would be huge. If I put my $$ on it I would say Alabama would be one of the last states to have any form of legalazion. It will happen soon though. Just to much $$ to be made. But then again that also puts forword other problems. Overall not seeing people go to jail, or be fined is a big win.
