Protesters Looking to Occupy Palace Until Leaders Exit

Things have been heating up in Sri Lanka lately and the PMs office has confirmed that the president is going to resign and ppl also want the Prime Minister to leave office as well, will he when a new government is in place? That could be happening soon apparently...

The economic meltdown has pushed people to their limits and now protesters have even taken to occupying the palace until the leaders are gone.

Inflation Protests Going On Around The World

Some countries are having a much more difficult time with inflation, look at Venezuela over the last several years, Turkey, and Sri Lanka, along with others. Multiple protests have sparked worldwide with people upset about the cost of living and the grim outlook for the economy for the future of their children.

In Sri Lanka food inflation has grown over 80% and the increased cost of living has pushed millions of more individuals into poverty and struggling just to afford basics like food. Can we blame them for feeling like their 'representatives' failed them? Because they did.

People in the region have been suffering with blackouts, food shortages, fuel shortages, and crippling inflation.

The more difficult it becomes just for people to put food on the table you can anticipate that they might start expecting a little more out of those who say they're working to look out for their best interest.
