Be strict on immigration... or offer it up for a few million to the rich?
They started off with a crackdown but now things are taking a turn 😂
Is it typical for the state to hurt the working poor while favoring the wealthy elite? 🤔this seems to be in keeping with tradition...
what has really changed?
This arguably isn't a very major policy shift because the wealthy have had avenues of immigration for years that might get them there faster than the average person who doesn't have such resources.
But what a picture it paints after weeks of media coverage on the crackdowns for immigration and now this.
Perhaps overall not much has changed but the actions do paint a narrative on the surface which is that the state is favoring the elite over the poor, but that arguably isn't anything new. It's just easier to recognize it when it's the opposing team running the current administration.

Crackdown on illegal immigration.
tell me you didn't read it without telling me 😂😂better luck grasping it next time
Of course I read it. There wasn't much to read. Two of the biggest requirements for legal immigrants are 1) not being a criminal and 2) showing the ability to support yourself, a necessity when you live in a welfare state otherwise you become a burden to the taxpayers. Do I agree with "selling" green cards? No. But to say the U.S. is "strict" on immigration is inaccurate. At least when compared with any other country in the world. The U.S. has 50 million foreign born residents. The next closets country? Germany with 15 million. I was just pointing out that there has been no crackdown on legal immigration. At least not that I am aware of.
Steaks, wine, sneakers, bibles, and now a permanent resident card for a million US dollars. Our current President is quite the entrepreneur.
With all the talk of our current debt, I guess the Gold Card might help out. Then again; will the income from these cards be applied to the debt or to some other government expenditure?
... hmmm you have a weak definition of entrepreneur 😂
someone at the helm of the pig trough that's funded with extorted resources ..nothing to be impressed about unless your standards are low
