The justification of war against Venezuela solely for their abundance of oil is farcical to say the least. Strategically, the desire for a nation to increase its oil reserves through military efforts would be economically and socially catastrophic in the current geopolitical environment.
The war of rhetoric between the United States and North Korea will only continue to escalate, since neither side (at least the leaders) is willing to provide an olive branch. Again, from a strategist standpoint, there would be little to gain for the United States to attack North Korea preemptively, as this act would only create further instability between the US relations with China and Russia.
We need resolutions, not warmongering.
