We Don't Need War In Venezuela.
I thought that we've been through this. The same story. Don't we know how they'll spin this for their own imperialist agenda? Are you fuckers that forgetful of how they did it with Vietnam? Iraq? Afghanistan?
Oh, the dictator is so bad, and yeah there's some oil there but we're the good guys. We're just trying to help people. Bring them FREEDOM
I thought we've seen how this works. The same tactics.
Media blitz. Social media. Front page of reddit. New York Times articles. Propaganda machines are running. Hot off the press!
FACT: Venezuela has the largest oil reserve in the world, almost 300 billion barrels worth.
FACT: The USA supports and upholds dictators, or otherwise highly undemocratic regimes including Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Qatar, Turkmenistan, Singapore, Brunei, Thailand, Oman, Egypt and Morocco. They've supported dictators left and right in the past. So now its suddenly just not their taste in Venezuela?
FACT: The US has waged an economic war against Venzuela, costing the country billions of dollars in revenue.
And yet, those protesting Maduro's regime don't immediately uphold or even want US intervention. The bourgeois media system refuse to allow any nuance to people's positions. Venezuelans can kick out Maduro, and yet remain Chavistas. Maybe they want no Maduro and instead want to replace him with a more functional Bolivarian leader. But the US media paints them all as simplistic 'anti-maduro=pro-Guaido".
And even those who don't support Maduro thoroughly REJECT calls for US intervention.
Already, hundreds of thousands of militias are armed and ready to fight any attempts to invade Venezuela.
And if you actually give a shit about Venezuelan people, you should emphatically REJECT all calls for foreign intervention. That will create the conditions of a guerrilla war that could last for decades.
Let the Venezuelan people handle their own affairs
