That is absolutely ridiculous the amount of time they spend away from doing their elected jobs. Most people spend their time focusing on our president, but really it is the house and senate that are truly the ones drumming up many years of the issue due to their inefficiencies. Also, congressional term limits is in my opinion the biggest factor holding them back, tied in with having to constantly fund their campagne. If you have not heard of the anti corruption act, you should check them out.
