Consider voting for progressive candidates who have pledged to take no corporate, PAC/SuperPAC money, rather than not voting at all. There are progressives who align Republican in some races. If you don't like any candidates, you could run yourself. The main problem with our system is that we have 100m eligible voters who don't bother, because our congress is bought, and most candidates are just more of the same. But, there are a lot of people running this year to try to replace as many seats as possible with people pledged to take no special interest money, and only individual donors. Not voting is how we get more of the same.

Progressives stand for the opposite of what I believe in.
I believe in Free Minds, Free Markets, Less Tax and More Tolerance.
Also we have already seen this scam of no special interest money play out. They just turn off the verification on their payment processing systems so fine upstanding individuals like Donald Duck and Mickey Mouse can donate and you do not even know what country the money is coming from. Fool me once . . .
The important thing is what they do when they are in congress. Do they vote without reading bills? Do they vote for huge spending bills that waste our money and grow the size of government?
