Been following the notorious Peter Schiff for, oh, at least 5 years. A rare individual -- a savvy investor and contrarian, powerful debater, fearless, a devoted father, stand-up comic, and ethical in character. Easy to get a full taste of Peter on his Youtube channel posts, mainly about economics, but also regarding real life stories such as his son's lax public school testing regimen.
See him politely try to get a word out of Van Jones at the prior Democratic National Convention or get a platform plank established to "ban profits", or interview bouncers and waitresses on Bourbon St. about all their college debts. Or, as one of the 1%, find out what percentage of income he should be paying in taxes from the Occupy Wall Streeters. Total entertainment and education combined. See him in front of a Congressional Hearing in a witty debate with sleepy John Lewis regarding whether we are already spending too much on education or not enough.
Once he said on his program that Wikipedia was blatantly lying about him and requested that his followers go on Wikipedia and correct it. I did so, but they required a whole list of prior Wikipedia accomplishments to comment on his Wikipedia bio. So, I emailed him that I tried but just not able to influence Wikipedia, and within minutes he texted back a personal thanks to my cellphone. Wow!! That was really impressive that this kingpin in his own right took a half minute to thank a little listener and actually personally texted them back.
Love the ongoing debate he has on t.v. with Scott Nations about the price of gold and the level of the stock market, when CNBC actually allows him a little air time. Peter is definitely good at talking over his debate opponent, and rarely loses a skirmish.
Peter once ran in Connecticut primary in order to hopefully run for Senator. But, alas, he was not able to raise the vast amount of money to match the lady who was from wealth to begin with, but who later lost to Senator Blumenthal who lied about being in Vietnam. It would be an entirely different country if Congress was composed of Schiff-like individuals -- sort of a crowd of Jimmie Stewarts in "Mr. Smith Goes to Washington". But no, he is often rebuffed and they try to ignore him. He brags about how many tv news outlets have blackballed him. I assume he takes pleasure in being a pariah when it comes to the DC/Wall St. cabal.
A most fascinating man -- a Renaissance man of the highest order -- a man worth many millions of dollars but a man of the common people. Track him down on YouTube and have some fun studying freedom and real economics!! And get a SchiffGold account!

I'm a fan of Schiff as well. He is a smart guy. He shits on bitcoin a lot though which might not win him many fans on this platform.
Yes, he does not trust it like he does gold, although ShiffGold takes bitcoin deposits, I am pretty sure -- ironic.

I'm a long time follower of Peter Schiff too, and I think he's right about 99% of what he says, but cryptos. I believe he's gonna capitulate anytime when he see it trough.
