Tokyo is such an awesome place to visit but I'm sure living there is a whole different thing. I know they've just had a big scandal with the last guy using a lot of the city's money for his own purposes.
I know in Japan advancement is usually based on seniority a lot of the time and not the best person for the job. But this time it sounds like the voters are willing to give Ms Koike a shot to clean things up and get the city back in shape.

Yeah, it's time for someone completely new. Time will tell how much she can get done but at this time, I think she was the best choice.
