I've spent a lot of time researching this controversial theory. Historically documented false flags, like Operation Gladio, Gulf of Tonkin, COINTELPRO, etc. don't seem to be enough to convince people that false flags are a common propaganda tool waged by governments to control populations with fear.
Remember, Project for a New American Century called for a new Pearl Harbor type attack before 9/11 and mapped out the countries we would invade. General Wesley Clarke later confirmed this.
