First of all I want to tell you that I am a South African for those who don't know me yet. I have a huge fascination with the American political system. I am also consider immigrating to America after I qualify with my dental degree so I can aid society.
It is easy to put labels on people and put them in specific categories by one word such as "liberal", "leftist", "right" , "conservative" etc.
Their is a lot of debate surrounding this but in my opinion one word can describe a person views efficient enough effen if they don't agree with all of the parties views, bills or agendas.
That being said I don't identify with just one word if I am honest but I will say I am a "conservative - libertarian".
The word "liberal" has changed meaning during this millennium dramatically. Bellow is what it actually means...
The leftist stole the meaning of the word and only respect their own opinion and in my opinion that is closer to fascism than liberal!
What I mean by conservative-liberal !
Even though I favour the right and conservative views such as less tax and support guns and less government interference.
The liberal refers to logic I think I poses, so even If I don't agree with those having different views I will allow them to speak their mind..
I just wish people on left will support this view of true liberalism !
