'South Africans - Losing Our Country to Political Sleaze'

The mist rolls over the people of South Africa as sleazy politicians spin their web of anesthesia, numbing our brains. The sign that we have the right leader is someone who doesn't play the party lines, someone who transcends political and racial rhetoric, someone who honestly addresses the fears of our citizens, and provides thoughtful and logical solutions for the future.

A summary of 'fears' that my friends, neighbours and church-family share with me:

-fear of further economic depression & poverty
-fear of worsening crime & corruption
-fear of further losing control of our country to political & economic sellouts (i.e. Selling SA assets to people in dark shadows)
-fear of losing what makes us uniquely African
-fear of losing ground on the little bit of progress we have made these last 20 years
-fear that we overlook 'good governance' as a core competency & desired trait for electability
-the fear of fear itself, inadvertently facilitating a despot ruler, and subsequently taking his place as an accepted option in SA political hallways, an option far worse than any hybrid version of apartheid, which is already creeping up on us like a bad case of athletes foot.
-fear that we have to admit failure
-fear of failure to address the core needs of our millions of poor, through a falsely advertised socialistic system which was a badly disguised version of 'corrupt monopoly capitalism', thereby giving healthy capitalism a bad name
-fear of the ANC masterminds who milk the tragedy and fears of the formerly disadvantaged, to harvest their votes, to where there is nothing of SA left...

Let the sun come out, to clear the mist, so that we no longer are cold, and can lift up our faces and smile into the sun's rays with pride in our country again, with a leader who stands hand in hand with us, truly serving the people.

Let us find this person, without doubt he or she lives and breathes among us, with a resilient and strong soul that resonates our dreams as Africans.

Come forth my leader!

The photo shows how the current government’s blatant negligence of South Africans has left us undignified, exposed, desperate, and precipitously close to a primitive state.
