Freedom, Government, Responsibility and Pronouns

I am becoming increasingly disaffected by the continuous abuse of inclusive pronouns in what is a transparent attempt to create solidarity between my mind and some nebulous "us". Phrases like, Our Government, Our Troops, Our national debt make me want to puke.

Please fail to misunderstand me, I accept that my words and deeds impact those around me, that I am indeed a part of a society. However, the attempted mind-control inculcated by public schools, mainstream media, music, television (tell-an-evil-vision), movies etc. constitute a pervasive assault upon my personhood and God given right to be secure in my own damn head.

I reject being included in your Government game. The extent to which I participate is only to minimize the violence I experience. I file and pay income tax because the very real threat against my person and property coerces my compliance not because I believe in some duty to participate.

I reject the idea that the military ought to be venerated axiomatically without curiosity as to what they are doing with all the time and energy expended to support them. Let's be clear, I am a veteran, six years active duty army, thank you very much, but, blind support of all things militaristic does not help the dudes in the field. Shrinking the military to about a tenth of present size would free up resources for infrastructure projects so that the millions who sign up because they need a job could get a job building things and helping people instead of breaking things and killing people. And, the troops are not mine, so will you please stop with the "our troops".

I reject the idea that wastrels who love their power can morally bind me and mine to pay for their foolishness, that men who offer to sell money they don't have (but pretend to create out of thin air) ought to collect more than they "created" and that they can use other men with legalese and ultimately weapons to constrain my compliance. It's slavery, it's wrong and I reject it. Get out of my head with your "our national debt".

I pledge fealty only to Almighty God. Under His command I seek the best and highest for my family and my neighbors, the land we live upon and the living human beings who reside upon the land.
