Europe - torn between ‘trumpesque nationalism’ and ‘Sorosist liberalism’

in #politics6 years ago

With much of the world focused on the drama surrounding the White House and its embattled resident, little attention is being paid to the fact that the exact same war is being waged in Europe. Liberals pushing for a globalist agenda are up in arms against what they call the ‘trumpesque alt-right nationalism’. Much of the debate is centred on migration and racism, but there are many other issues at play, all dear to Soros globalists, issues that European populist governments are quietly doing away with.

Hungarian PM wants a conservative Europe

Europe’s most vocal bad-boy, Hungarian prime minister Viktor Orban has been vilified for his tough stance on migration, yet he is also at the forefront of the fight against George Soros’s broader globalist agenda. The so-called Soros law initiated by Orban aims to curb foreign funding for NGOs and, if you lived in a small country you’d know just how vocal such organizations can be. For instance, Hungarian NGOs started screaming bloody murder after Orban announced last month that the Hungarian government will no longer fund ‘gender studies’ at two of the country’s universities, citing a quite sound economic reason - there is no demand for such graduates from the job market. There is no real demand for such experts in the West, let alone in a small central-European country, with a whole range of real economic issues.
Orban makes no secret of his plan to make Hungary a ‘Christian democracy’, for which he was branded a danger to the ‘multi-cultural liberal democracy’ that Soros-subsidized entities consider Europe should become. We already know multi-cultural stands for opening our borders to Muslim immigrants. On the other hand, liberal is code-word for LGBT agenda being taught in schools, transgenders’ right to be a public annoyance with all their perceived micro-aggressions and let’s not forget about the feminist agenda. One thing nobody seems to be bothered by is how exactly these two trends could ever work together, as Muslims are not well-known for their tolerance for gay people or for their respect for women. ‘A multi-cultural liberal democracy’ sounds a recipe for disaster.

Globalist French president Macron up in arms against Italy's populist leader Salvini

Another rising-star of Europe’s populist movements, Italian deputy prime minister Matteo Salvini has recently vowed to put an end to the LGBT agenda that has been pushing to have the traditional family model remodeled by changing the terms mother and father to parent one and parent two. As Catholic Italy does not recognize gay unions, under previous governments courts and city halls in Italy have been quietly skirting the law, granting parental rights to both partners in a gay couple. As the country’s Interior Minister, Salvini has decreed that terms like parent 1 and parent 2 are no longer acceptable.
Another blow to the globalist agenda is the new Italian’s government decision to relax the law on mandatory vaccines, which was passed one year ago. Under an amendment passed in July, Italian parents are no longer forced to provide proof of vaccination when they enroll their children in public schools.

With countries like Italy, Poland, Hungary and Austria ruled by populist governments, Europe is fractured and there is no healing in sights. Sweden, of of the continent’s most ‘liberal’ nations holds general elections this weekend, with right-wing forces expected to make big gains. No wonder since the country has one of the largest immigrant populations. Crime and violence are so wide-spread some districts have become no-go areas.

Bannon took to Europe the war against Soros

The article referenced at the top of this post refers to the fate of Europe following next year’s elections for the European Parliament. Whereas ten years ago the turnout for these elections was small as no one really cared who gets to represent them in distant Brussels, next year poll is certainly going to see a lot of debate and right-wing parties will probably secure good numbers. Let’s not forget Donald Trump’s former adviser Steve Bannon has established quarters in Europe with this specific purpose - helping Europe’s right-wing parties fight against the Soros agenda.

In 1992 Soros dumped on the market billions of italian lira and british pounds bringing the central banks of these two countries near total collapse, earning for himself, with this "simple speculation" , other billions of dollars.
And now we have to believe he is a philanthropist that helps others???
I guess when you get a fat check from Uncle George you can believe in anything.......

I had no idea he speculated on the lira, too. I always thought it was just the pound... oh, well..

The ironic part that leaves me flabbergasted is the amount of hatred being spewed by those screaming the loudest about tolerance and we are all the same. They will slip that in before launching into their diatribe on evil white men, the builders of the societies that gave them the freedom to spew such hatred. They scream unity and diversity while demonstrating that diversity is dangerous to those they wish to implement and embrace it. Mind boggling.

You can see even in Greece with their Golden Dawn party, to the Trump phenomenon here in the US people are desperate to get some semblance of sanity back. My largest concern though is these people orchestrating all of this behind the scenes have an understanding of human nature and I suspect the doors to sanity such as what I just named were placed there by these same creators of madness. Make the public demand the solution to the problems you create for them, then give them the door you want them to go through for a solution.

Well, we are dealing with mostly young people who have been led to believe that no one is allowed to challenge the notions they've been indoctrinated with. They just cannot deal with the concept that other people might see things differently - so they either run to their safe space or throw a tantrum.
And I'm afraid you might be right about people being nudged or even pushed towards a certain solution. I look at myself and wonder how much I've changed from a fairly liberal person towards very conservative positions. I'm not very comfortable with this but I see no other choice. As far as my children are concerned, I think they'd be better off in a conservative Europe than in a society ruled by Muslims... next thing you know they'll be accusing us of white privilege!

I'm from Sweden, and this article is bullshit. There are no no-go areas ion Sweden. Crime is really low, immigrants are not overrepresented in the statistics if you do statistical correction for socio-economic status. Meaning, poor people do crime, because they are poor, immigrants are poorer.
Also what is this anti semitic Gergoe Soros conspiracy bullshit?
Nobody belives in that outside alt-right circles, which clearly indicates you as alt-right. Which means that your agenda is to spread fear and propaganda.

First of all, I'd like to remind you we are here on this platform to express our views and debate them. Calling my post bullshit is childish and I'm not impressed.
Second - I tend to be very thorough with my sources and I'm not by any means the only one to see the problems in Sweden. For your enlightenment: Sweden: Trouble in Paradise?, Sweden's deadly problem with hand grenades...
Third - the fact that immigrants are poor is no excuse for crime. Also, it is no excuse in the eyes of the law in any decent country.
Fourth - attacking Soros is not anti-semitic... he might be of Jewish origins, but this is not the problem. The problem is his agenda, especially his open society, open borders ideas. Also, you might be aware he is not on good terms with the state of Israel, apparently they don't like him either, which, by your logic, makes the Israelis quite anti-semitic!
One thing you are right, though - yes, I used to be very liberal, but now I am alt-right, which, as far as I know, is not a crime!
