This is actually quite a major event and a good one if you don't want to see the UK staying in the EU like me. There's nothing quite like the certainty of politicians always backstabbing each other to work in your favour for once. I realise there will be remain voters and others who think I have lost it but allow me to explain why this is probably a good thing for us.
Even if you originally voted remain, there is no denying that purely from a financial standpoint the idea that we have to pay £50 billion to stay within the single market ( Which means we haven't actually left the EU in the first place ) and end up paying more than when we were originally in before implementing article 50 is ridiculous. We were being extorted and thank fuck for the Irish turning the border all of a sudden into a massive issue because without them we could have been forced to take on that awful deal and it would have a pretty bad effect on this country for years to come.
Infighting between the left and the right is quite possibly the best thing that we could hope for going forward with politics for now. The reason being because they will be so busy trying to screw each other over that they won't be able to get anything done which will mean that people can be left alone to live how they want. Thanks to article 50 being implemented even if they somehow manage to drag things on for another year which I'm sure they all will attempt to if they still can't come to an agreement things will work out fine for us and we'll leave the EU under WTO rules.
