So, today there was a crazy collection of marches on D.C. You had a MOAR (Mother of all Rallies) group promoting Trump, a Protect American Democracy rally protesting against possible Russian interference in our elections, plus the Juggalo March http://www.npr.org/2017/09/15/550724673/who-are-the-juggalos-and-why-are-they-marching-in-washington-d-c, all at the same time.
Props to JackSmithIV for posting & promoting every aspect of what this even was about.

While I wish I would have been there for it, I was stuck working my two jobs to make a living for myself. I spent all day yesterday trying to figure out a way to make it to this rally & show my support of free speech, but it wasn't going to happen. So I figured I'd make a post about it.
The funny thing is the Juggalo's managed to double the attendance of the other two rallies, this's the first time they've managed to get any sort of media attention that is not negative. There also was no violence like the media was prepared for & would have relished in.
All of these rallies were about FREE SPEECH & the American Dream. Juggalos have been labeled a gang even though they are all about family (blood or extended), just for listening to a certain type of music. There will always be a person or two in any type of group that does something to ruin it for everyone else, but that should not mean that it ruins it for everyone else.
The thing to realize is if this stands it sets a precedent. If followers of ICP can be labeled the same as Crips or Bloods or MS13, than so can followers of the Greatfull Dead, Metallica, any rap groups, any militia in this country, or any group of people that feels the same way as others. Maybe Trump supporters or Bernie Sanders supporters should be classified as gangs? "What kind of gang sells music and not drugs and guns?" one of the organizers said on stage shortly after the rally began.
