After all this time, for Assad to walk away unscathed - it's terrible. The people of Syria have gone through so much, and this is hardly a happy ending. Conflict will continue in the region for years to come.

the war just keeps coming.. never going away. and it is sad that it looks as though it will persist.. hiw about the people of syria? what future is there to hold? so sad.
