I'll grant you the "entertainment" aspect of it all day. I don't like cow tongue, but people tell me it's a delicacy.
That being said, does it really help? that's my point.

I believe it does help in understanding others better. Seeing another person's perspective or values during a discussion provides insight into why they think the way they do. I may disagree with them or wish they could manage their emotions to facilitate a clearer conversation, but that’s all part of the discussion.
