One of the most infuriating aspects of the political debates we are having online is that most people are just worried about scoring points above anything else. We might be tricked into thinking they care about the actual issues, more so because of their performative outrage, but a quick look under the hood shows otherwise.
Remembering the Twins
It seems like a lifetime ago now, but in the early days of Steem, when Dtube was actually working, these two were a thing here. This blockchain hosted quite a few notable figures all of them enticed by the green candles.
I'm not going to sit here and say I was a big fan of the twins comedy, but they did have a certain charm about them. The honeymoon period was somewhat short, as bull markets usually are, and the problems with Dtube simply drove them away.
Outside of crypto their fame grew, and their alliance with the manosphere secured them a big audience among those who would call themselves right leaning. So it's no surprise at all that they spent the entire Biden presidency dunking on Brandon.
But hey... Their comments, their concerns, were not only valid, they were possibly quite correct.
