I full support your right of having guns as its stated in ths usa constitution, here in venezuela people can have guns. Is not forbidden by the law, but we decided to not take the violent road of a civil war. I am 100% percent sure that the problem is not in that area. Many bad goverments have been overthrowned by doing non violent protests and inteligent strategies by the oposition.
We are not "stompy-foot, whining and crying" when we do massive protests like this, we do this because everytime is done, the goverment looses a little bit of power and popular acceptation, and that translates in a faster road to the referendum. Also the opposition leaders do this as a sign of strength to encourage people in this road, and to announce new plans to keep the referendum going . We have now a plan to continue this "fight" going on.
I really believe that every country has the right to follow their own path, and i respect the way usa is and their history, but i see no point in saying something offensive towards our people, even taking in account that we are responsible of the freedom of almost all of southamerica.
Thanks mate
