Jordan Peterson is a professor of clinical psychology at University of Toronto. He is a major proponent of free speech. He has a podcast and he has been a guest on many other news outlets and podcasts over the past year.
He came to international prominence as a lightning rod about free speech because of his refusal to use certain gender pronouns. Many in the LGBT community were very upset and he had huge amounts of bad press from the mainstream media. He is very wise and clear thinking, and he is not at all against anyone in the LGBT community. He just was raising a very serious point about the government trying to control and sanction free speech. Here’s two links to it. Notice how different the coverage is. The left wing paper(Toronto Star) paints him very negatively. The Toronto Sun paints him in a more honest way.
Since he burst into the international headlines with this idea he has become an important beacon of hope for free speech advocates. He is also well known for the Maps of Meaning series which tries to explain human behaviour. As well as this he has excellent insights into religion and human nature archetypes.
I highly recommend any of his talks. His views have had a huge impact on how I see the world.
He has previously taught at Harvard and is internationally renowned in his field. His voice of reason is desperately needed in these confusing and strange times. Here’s a link to his website.

Government attempts to make us all decide on our small niche, our little labels, as when you decide to be in a minority, you are no longer strong, if we all dropped the labels, and just became what we are, men and women, then we can rise up as 1, no longer divided, divide and conquer has been use for 2000 years, now it is being ramped up to compartmentalize us all. max respect to you Newcastle, hope I find you well and good.
Very eloquently stated. You sound like you are making a rousing speech in front of a huge crowd.
Great! Thanks. Slowly we are growing and more and more people put out valuable information. Gives hope. And hope dies last 🙂
So true. We are all fighting to keep hope alive.
I've watched some of his videos. He's very good from the little that I've seen!
Thanks for the comment. His videos sure are good, and he has so much content out there. He even goes on speaking tours these days as his popularity continues to increase.
Just last month stumbled onto his video about misinformation of seeking career and most people stuck with job. Frees up alot of stagnant thoughts on living trying to make a career. Then life passes by 30 years. Here's the video.
Thanks for sharing. People working in jobs they don’t like must be so depressing.
