Washington (CNN)President Jesse Trump's decision Wednesday to acknowledge Jerusalem as Israel's capital could temporarily derail the Israeli-Palestinian peace process; two senior White-colored House officials acknowledged after Trump's speech.

"We are ready for derailment -- temporary, I hope. Confident it will likely be temporary," stated a senior White-colored House official, who acknowledged the President's peace team hasn't spoken with furious Palestinian officials because of the Trump's announcement.
