While it’s not unprecedented, it is unacceptable to demand the impeachment or sequester of a politician simply because they said something you didn’t like. Congress is protected under law from being punished for what they say, beyond the protections of the 1st Amendment. Otherwise you could be sequestered just for having an unpopular opinion, which would mean Congress would get even less done than the little they do now.
