There are two kinds of Trump supporters: there's the straight-ticket Republicans who'd support an animatronic Chuck E Cheese robot as long as it had an (R) next to its name, and then there's the so-called "populists" who say everything Trump does is secretly a brilliant strategic maneuver against the Deep State.
Make a strawman, then attack it hard.
Why do you ignore the biggest group of Trump supporters? Those that acknowledge all his flaws and yet vote for him. Those that have no illusion about who Trump is and still vote for him because he's the best option out there. That doesn't fit your narrative so let's pretend they don't exist.
