RE: Racism and slander against Kurds on steemit

I don't think there are actual rules on what you should or should not flag.

You're probably right about that as well. However, in order to nullify (or give a befitting response to)

racism, hate speech, discrimation, harmful and abusive posts... posts that lie and mislead people...

it is of necessity that they are visible to the readers (including your new fan like me).

Whether we like it or not, readers deserve to see what their author's counterargumentation is directed at. This is I believe is beneficial to the possessor of the truth (especially, in the long run).

Awesome post! Steem on, my friend!

Thank you for caring enough to comment my new friend. I get what you mean, however allowing unaware people to read fake and misleading news isn't very beneficial. Unfortunately, a lot of people hold for truth what they read without doing any proper reseach of their own. Which consequentely creates a snowball effect.. those who read the fake news believe themselves to be knowledgeable and aid in spreading it. So I can't help but flag it or shine light upon it.

Thanks! I will seek to learn more about from your posts ;)
