RE: Racism and slander against Kurds on steemit

in #politics7 years ago (edited)

I threw her a lifeline within in my post which she chose to ignore :

You see at least 35 million, we are not happy being occupied by other countries as you wouldn't be. Why can't we compromise, agree and settle this matter once and for all instead of lunching smear campaigns, propaganda and war ? Why not rather choose to be two peaceful neighbors than two ennemies in the same house ?
You spoke about claiming land in which we are not a majority, how about we give back the land in which we are not a majority and you give us the land in which we are ? Let's also make a country for the Assyrians and Êzidîs (Yazidis) if they wish so. Deal ? I believe all minorities who don't already have a homeland, deserve the chance to achieve statehood, the right to learn and educate in their own mother tongue, the chance to govern themselves. If it could end the conflict and bloodshed I don't give a damn if there are a thousand states or one whole one, but make it equal and peaceful for all people, call it utopia.

I don't think working with her is possible.

Just double check what you read. Research and listen to the story from all sides from reliable sources and use logic like don't do to others what you wouldn't want them to do to you or the freedoms you enjoy, others have the same right as you. Maybe to understand what I'm trying to say, you should read my other post https://steemit.com/life/@ronahi/what-is-it-like-to-be-a-kurd.

Take care.
