My own thoughts, my own feelings. This is not a "simple" party line. The Democrats want to push through a partial birth abortion law and standard.
The woman laying in a delivery gurney, with a baby crowned in its effort to live, could potentially ask the child to be killed.
There are no real words to describe the horror of this act.
I do believe in a parent's right to choose. But this proposal/bill is setting out to make the right to life criminal, if someone thinks that child should live.
Horrifying. Horrifying.
I gave a child for adoption when I was a teenager. I got to pick from a list of potential parents. I've communicated with him, he's a great young man. Should I have been given the right to have him murdered during the birthing process? No way in hell.
Law and its carriage and passage in this world are responsible for a hopelessly wide field of possibilities, and horrors, like this one. I pray that this will not be carried through.
