This post follows from the earlier ‘Why Didn’t the FBI Examine the DNC Servers?’
Crowdstrike is the cybersecurity firm employed by the DNC
On December 22, 2016 Crowdstrike reported that Russia had hacked into an Ukrainian artillery app, using the same technology they believed had been used to hack into the DNC servers. Crowdstrike claimed that because of this hack, up to 70 % of Ukraine’s artillery had been destroyed.
On December 29, 2016, apparently in whole or partial retaliation for the DNC hack, more than 30 Russian diplomats were thrown out of the US.
On January 6, 2017, according to Ukraine’s own government, the reported destruction of up to 70% of Ukraine’s artillery NEVER HAPPENED. Look for Crowdstrike Ukraine Report.
On January 11, 2017, during his testimony at a Senate Hearing, Comey neglected to mention that Ukraine had officially denied the Crowdstrike report of Russian hacking of its artillery.
On March 23, 2017, Crowdstrike retracted its own erroneous report on the Ukrainian hack.
Thus this ‘highly respected private company’ upon whom the FBI placed so much faith, has now revised and retracted its Ukrainian hack report, which it had in turn tied to the DNC hack.
- If Crowdstrike could make this error, could they also have made an error with their analysis of Russian hacking of the DNC?
The FBI MUST be allowed to examine the DNC servers to determine who really hacked the DNC. Was it Russia or was it someone else?
