When you think about the power of the people, you tend to think of situations or circumstances where it can have a marked impact. How it can move or change trajectories. This is just a part of it, but I think this is a major instance of it.
So in this case, I'm going to talk about Andrew Yang. Mr. Yang has a fantastic following of internet followers, known as the #YangGang. They are majorly located on Twitter, but they can also be found on Reddit as well as Facebook. Yang is talking about topics that no other US presidential candidate is, and his followers are also echoing the same sentiment. One example is how mainstream media is trying to skew how Andrew Yang is doing in the polls. He called them out on it, and then the #YangGang followed. What transpired about 24 to 36 hours later is the network apologizing for the mistake on Twitter. That's, what you call power of the people.
I also want to share about Yang's UBI plan and how it is paid for.
Tell me what you think?
