I would add that multi-national corporations are more dangerous than many governments because their chokehold over citizens knows no geographical boundaries. Science and scientists are bought and paid for on the global stage by the giant multi-nationals. But companies like Tesla are setting a new standard and I see the movement towards freedom as being an unstoppable force. I'm really curious how this site will play out in China. Is it already blocked there?

I'm not so sure. At the end of the day, government has a power that no individual has: the right to coerce by using force legally. If a corporation can violate natural laws, his privilege can only be granted by the government in place and no one else. Also, an incredible amount of scientists are employed by the government and politicized science is all the rage right now (believe me, the day where scientists will blame artificially low interest rates for waste of resources, credit expansion and global warming WILL NEVER COME)...they'll ask us to pay a "carbon tax" first. Finally, the public school system is by far the most amazing tool to mold the mind at the most critical time of one's life...before 12 years old.
House of Cards and Kevin Spacey. One word. Amazing!
I live in Shanghai. FYI that it is not blocked. I believe it is because there are no chinese content yet.
ok thanks for the info!
