I didn't say me. But yes, you must be rich if you're begging for Steem and worried about that ACA penalty. What, $700?
My actual point though is that his tax cuts are aimed at the wealthy, not the lower and middle classes. Meanwhile his trade wars and bad policies are going to end up increasing prices. So tell me, if you get an extra $700 back in taxes but food prices double... Did you really benefit?
tax for being poor
I'm not begging. I'm just giving you the opportunity to put your money where your mouth is.
but of course you'd say
I didn't say me
Umm... "I didn't say me" was referring to being wealthy enough to really benefit from Trump's "tax cuts."
But hey, maybe you should save some of that straw.
It's funny though isn't it? Trump thinks socialized medicine is much better than our system.

I guess it would just be too weird for you if we had a mostly capitalist system, but used socialist ideas where they work and make sense. Oh, and for the record... giving money to you wouldn't be socialism. It would be charity. I'd happily pay a little more money to go into a single payer healthcare system.
where has single payer EVER worked
There's a Brit right here on Steemit who is catching hell from their form of nationalised health care
Canadians come to the US rather that wait, and die waiting, for routine operations that is provided in the US.
Hell even billionaires (the king of saudi arabia a while back, or it might have been a different guy, I don't exactly recall which...they all look alike to me wearing those robes like they.) come here.
or perhaps you would like to join the US Veterans who also die while waiting?
Which branch of the Armed Forces did you serve in by the way?
WHICH single payer system would you prefer?
You know part of the reason Canadians come here? Because Americans are going there and trying up their system.
Cherry picking a few examples is, well, just that: cherry picking. Looking at any actual statistics every socialized Healthcare system ranks better than ours.
For every example of someone having trouble with their system I can probably find ten of people dying or going bankrupt because of ours.
EDIT: Oh, and asking about my military service? Really? So trying to invalidate my argument by focusing on me instead of the facts eh?
Well you're right, I wasn't in the military. A lot of my family was though, and are consistently receiving treatment through the VA. My dad was actually saved from cancer a few years ago, with months of treatment and surgeries. So yeah, it doesn't seem quite as bad as you're trying to make it seem.
Although the VA definitely does have problems, and many of those problems are caused by Republicans refusing to give them any money in the budget. You have an entire party ideologically opposed to healthcare, essentially forcing socialized healthcare to look bad in an attempt to prove their point.
Odd how ALL of the budgets of ALL of the federal departments have gone up, and up, and up
damn republicans..not doing a very good job are they?
Health care for example
Funny how I said VA, and you post "all budgets combined."
Disingenuous much?
Here's the VA budget: http://www.politifact.com/truth-o-meter/statements/2016/sep/30/barack-obama/barack-obama-says-va-budget-has-risen-85-percent-h/
Note that the discretionary budget, the part they could use to actually upgrade their infrastructure and improve service, has barely ticked up?
And again THEY FUCKING SAVED MY DAD FROM CANCER.
You know part of the reason Canadians come here? Because Americans are going there and trying up their system.
you know?
that's the first time that I've ever heard that.
and I converse with a number of Canadians on line.
never heard it in the media either.
odd how they've never mentioned it.
I heard this from a guy in Toronto who's dad was waiting for some cancer treatment. Americans drive there because it's cheaper, and they get prioritized because they pay into the system.
I can't really find anything on google, but most searches are just turning up the "Canadians going to America" stuff because google isn't great at context.
I will say this though: Canada is pretty much the worst example of a socialized healthcare system, and it's still a little better than hours. They may have to worry about wait times, but they get treatment without going bankrupt. In America, you can be rich, you can go bankrupt (even if you have insurance) or you can die.
Yay.
ah..you 'heard from a guy' who heard it from another guy, who heard it from his sister, who heard it from her boy friend...
gotcha.
