The New Atheists are misguided in their attempt to critique the woke Left. They stand no chance of defeating wokeness because they are essentially telling them, “You are a cult akin to religion, and all religions are wrong because there is no God.” But with no God, there is no Truth. So how can the woke Left be wrong? How can anybody be wrong about any moral claims? Without God, there is no good and evil, so who's to say Drag Queen Story Hour and grooming children is wrong? The New Atheists have no leg to stand on against the woke Left.
The New Atheists say that even though there is no God, there is still truth in science. But attempting to replace religion with science will never work. Humans are inherently religious. You cannot remove religion from society; it will always be replaced by another form of religion. When the Soviets removed the religions of Judaism and Christianity, they were replaced by the religion of Communism. If you say science is the only form of truth, then science warps into Scientism, and the Left calls their irrational woke beliefs “science” and therefore “truth.”
The only way to actually defeat the woke religion is with a non-woke religion—that is through traditional Christianity. The New Atheists attack Christianity on the literal level, but they fail to comprehend the symbolic level and the deeper metaphorical truths embedded in the Bible. If you want proof of Christianity’s truth, just look at the fruits of Western civilization under Christendom: the beauty and goodness it produced through hierarchical patriarchy and wholesome family values.
If you embrace Christianity and live like Christ—that is actually live like Christ, not merely claim to be a Christian and go to church on Sundays—but if you live the Gospel and follow Truth, you will produce beauty and goodness in the world. The more people in a society that live like Christ, the more good and beautiful that society will become. That is the living Truth of Christianity.
This is why Western civilization has become full of lies, ugliness, and evil after the rejection of Christianity and the embracing of this new heretical woke faith. Woke truth claims are false both literally and metaphorically. Just look at the chaos and destruction they are wreaking on society. New Atheism is doomed to fail. They are fighting a religious war, and to remove a bad religion, you must replace it with a good one. Only Christ can defeat the antichrist of wokeism.
