I have written about the importance to the public discussion of real journalists reporting real facts in response to Univision's Jorge Ramos and MSNBC Mike Brzezinski both saying they cannot cover the facts with objectivity and neutrality.
Now WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange talks to Megyn Kelly about a "significant" leak planned prior to the U.S. presidential election. From Wednesday's broadcast of The Kelly File on the FOX News Channel:
What do you think? Are real journalists reporting real facts important? Is Julian Assange the last real journalist? Is he even a real journalist at all or just looking for attention?
MEGYN KELLY: Julian, thank you very much for being here. So, let's start with the additional information you have regarding Hillary Clinton. When can we expect this information?
JULIAN ASSANGE, WIKILEAKS CO-FOUNDER AND EDITOR-IN-CHIEF: Well, we're working around the clock. We have a lot of material (INAUDIBLE) and by a major DNC revelation which is now lead to the resignation of five officials at the DNC including Debbie Wasserman Schultz late last week. So, you know, it's a complex business what we do. We have to assess the veracity, we have a perfect ten-year record so far of never getting it wrong. We want to keep that reputation. Understanding how to keep things should be formatted, what media we should be involved in. What is the best way to stage it out? Do we accumulate everything in one batch or do we consider - - several batches. We decided to do several batches.
KELLY: But what, I mean, give us a general sense. I mean, are we going to see it before the November 8th election?
ASSANGE: Yes, absolutely. I mean in the case of the DNC leaks, for example, we pushed as hard as we could to try to get it in before the Democratic nomination conference because obviously, people have a right to understand who they're nominating and what's involved and the same is true here for the U.S. electoral process, people involved in that election, have the right to understand who it is they're electing.
KELLY: Now, you've seen it, right? Can you tell us how significant you believe it is? I mean compare its significance to what we saw released by Wikileaks in July.
ASSANGE: Well, I don't want to scoop ourselves. We have a lot of pages of material, thousands of pages of material. So, while I have not read every single page, in doing that, I didn't want to give the game away. But there's a variety of different types of documents from different types of institutions that are associated with the election campaign, some quite unexpected angles that are, you know, quite interesting, some even entertaining.
KELLY: Do you -- you know, right now according to the average of all polls, she's beating Donald Trump by 5.5 points nationwide, she's way ahead of him in most of the swing states, not all, do you believe the information in your possession could be a game-changer in the U.S. election?
ASSANGE: I think it's significant. You know, it depends on how it catches fire in the public and in the media.
I don't know what to think of him , but we are in moment when news like hes got can't be called LEAKS anymore . These document are REAL and should be presented to people . People needs to understands to who and for who they are voting . It's a bunch of greedy monsters and they need to be exposed in a brightest light that we can find .
When i think of him i don't know how to call him . Journalist? Exposist ? Humanity lover ? Spy ? We really can't describe him , maybe if one has a chance to spend 2-3 days with him and to feel his vibe ...maybe then .
He is the real deal.
thanks for sharing this material I really like what you posted. Thank you so much
Elections are too important at this point in our history and the voters need the facts however and wherever they appear. If everything is done according to the law there should be no fear of the light that reveals what has been happening. Good post!
Assange is paid opposition. Enjoy the show folks. He is still alive while others have been killed. So go back and watch your mainstream theater. After all, you pay for it.
I am all for anyone that makes the current ruling class uncomfortable.

I've always lked Hillary Clinton. She went through a lot in the Monica Lewinsky thing and despite that, she stuck with her husband. I like loyalty. But there have been so many things that have surfaced, that bring into question, her judgement. I'm just not sure any more. I know she is a very intelligent woman, and I think America needs an intelligent woman at the helm, to bring some feminine angle to the US. I don't think the US is feminine at all but I do think that a woman at the helm, for the first time in US history, could be a balancing force, for the good for the US. I feel weird for saying this, but, on the other hand, I also like a lot of things that Donald Trump says on a range of issues. I like his toughness. But he has said some things that are just way off scale for me. The scale of reasonableness. I'm from the UK but I want the US to be a successful country for a lot of reasons.
Can someone tell me why Julian Assange cares so much about the US Presidential election? He's not a US citizen, he has no stake in the outcome from what I can see, so why is Wikileaks so focused on this?
What is the angle?
I used to argue with my friend about major political issues which I believe main stream media is lying, government is lying, politician is lying, and sadly citizens and student leaders are manipulated. I quoted wiki leads and it is supported by other evident that is hard to argue. But nearly all the people will not listen to it and not dare to believe in wiki leaks. Say, it is not official or not reliable source etc... The brainwashing through education and media is far greater extend than you imagine.
You open an empty cage in your balcony, there are birds nest there soon, expecting someone will feed them and tame them. Of course those are not very good birds.
When you have to hide out in foreign countries to report on American politics...you are doing something right. As he stated, they have a 10 year history of divulging information that has been thoroughly researched prior to it being delivered to the general public. Wiki-leaks and Assange represent a breed of journalism that has been completely obliterated from the American landscape and that is "investigative journalism." They do not publish content prior to vetting it, nor are they part of the CIA backed mainstream media in America.
